Although most transitions are not easy, we strive to facilitate the process and make the move as easy as possible with a variety of environments where our patients feel at home, informed, secure and comfortable. Quality of life is our priority.
We have three separate units, serving uniquely different patient needs. Each unit is separate and has its own entrance, dining area and garden/patio area:
Our Sunshine Unit offers long-term care for patients who can no longer manage at home and it has earned a reputation for its exceptionally friendly staff and excellence of care. Our team of professionals designs a plan of care unique to the needs of each resident. They enjoy an array of activities – there is something for everyone; live music, games, crafts, religious services, holiday celebrations, even ice cream social and outdoor gardens.
Gardenview is a secure memory care-specific unit. This specialized unit is designed to meet the dynamic needs of families and seniors dealing with Alzheimer’s, dementia and other memory-related diseases. Residents participate in a variety of activities and programs to meet their special needs. The design of Gardenview allows for maximum freedom for residents, including access to an outdoor terrace, in a spacious, safe and secure setting.
The Rehab wing treats a wide range of patients transitioning from hospital to home with a focus on returning patients to a normal and productive lifestyle. By using specialized technology and equipment, as well as advanced training in complex care conditions, the vast majority of our patients return home and back to active lives in a relatively short period of time.
Therapy Second to None
Outpatient Rehab Therapy at Glen Rose Nursing & Rehab offers senior adults continuing rehabilitation from injury, illness or surgery after returning home. It is our goal to create a care plan which allows each patient to experience a smooth transition from inpatient to outpatient rehab.
